| Parents are asked to ensure that their child: |
a) attends school dressed appropriately for the weather, and according to the school's dress code. b) sets aside time for homework and review. c) balances homework with other activities such as music, sports, or dance. You are the most important person in your child's life. Take time to do things together. Be an active learner. Let your child see you learning new things. |

Students' Rights and Responsibilities |
As a student. I have a RIGHT to learn at Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School : It is my RESPONSIBILITY to listen to instructions & follow the directions of school staff. I have a RIGHT to express my feelings and opinions. It is my RESPONSIBILITY not to talk, shout, or make loud noises when others are speaking, especially in classrooms and hallways. I will speak in appropriate ways and at appropriate times. I have a RIGHT to be respected. It is my RESPONSIBILITY to be sensitive to the feelings of others. I will not treat anyone unfairly, call them names, or tease them because of gender, skin colour, body shape, or size. I have a RIGHT to be safe.
I have a RIGHT to expect others to respect my property. It is my RESPONSIBILITY to respect the personal property of others, and to care for school property. |
